FTD Books and Flaming Star have joined forces again in order to streamline the production, sales and distribution of the Elvis Presley In Hollywood book series, the first of which is King Creole : Frame By Frame with a release date of February 7 and followed by Jailhouse Rock : Frame By Frame on March 6 along with the very exciting release of On Stage 2-Disc in the FTD 7" Classic Album Series [This will arguably be FTDs best release to-date in terms of unreleased high quality recordings] and Our Memories Od Elvis a 2-Disc 5" version of the original albums with a full CD of unreleased material and a 12" double vinyl release.

Such A Night in Pearl Harbor MRS CD / Deluxe Book

Memphis Recording Service in association with JAT Productions will release the next Elvis Presley titled 'Such A Night in Pearl Harbor' in March 2012. It will contain a completely new re-mastered CD of Elvis' performance of the benefit concert recorded at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii on March 25th 1961 to aid of the USS Arizona Memorial Fund. The quality is of this concert is far superior than anything of this ever released before and will now be considered, one of the best Elvis concert recordings up until that time. This CD is presented exactly the same as the MRS releases : The Complete Louisiana Hayride Archives 1954-1956, Off Duty With Private Presley Book Deluxe CD set & Tupelo Welcomes Home Elvis Presley Deluxe CD set.

An update on the much anticipated Sun Book and CD set - Ernst Jorgensen says it is 'still quite a bit away'. With the Sun book Ernst says 'there are still a lot of corrections to be made'. As everyone knows this has been a project he has been working on for several years and it is obviously extra special to him and getting everything right is important. Also at this time the 'Young Man With The Big Beat' is Sonys priority and it would not be ideal to put two fairly pricey sets up competing with each other at the same time.
