Sound samples
In the first sample below we have a back to back comparison of Little Mama : First up is 23 seconds of the version from the FTD box set, A Boy From Tupelo, then a fade and into 38 seconds of the remastered MRS version. You will be able to hear a very clear improvement. Then we have audio comparisons of the new song, I Forgot To Remember To Forget, speed corrected and with a clever overdub of Bill Black's playing from the original studio master to give the song an extra boost : here it sounds great, on a proper hi-fi, unbelievable.

The 'parade' footage is good to see as it puts you in the right context with color and b&w footage. The interviews of Elvis' Parents are well worth hearing too. The afternoon show footage is wonderful and electrifying : Here is Elvis in his prime rocking and rolling in front of 11.000 people. Highly recommended.
