"This Is Elvis" is also due for region 1 DVD release in 2004.
In Europe, the following Elvis movies are due for DVD release on August 4, 2004; "Viva Las Vegas", "Double Trouble", "Speedway", "Spinout", "Harum Scarum" and "The Trouble with Girls".
BMG UK And Irleand today announced that the Aloha From Hawaii and 68 Comeback Special DVDs and the SUN Commemative CD will now have a 5th July release date across Europe to co-incide with the 50th anniversary of the recording of "That's Alright".
The general public are aware of Elvis' musical heritage, but his minimal appearances on television, although viewed by millions, haven't registered as "must haves". The launch of all three products in a promotional blitz is expected to produce massive media interest, with retail being geared up for three months of sustained sales interest throughout the summer months, with a second re-launch in the autumn to excite the Christmas spend.
The autumn relaunch will commence with a Saga primetime Elvis Presley radio special hosted by Todd Slaughter across the network to be aired on Saturday 18th September linked to a major competition to win CDs, DVDs and trips to Memphis, co-promoted in SAGA Magazine, and in the national press.

* 48 Hours To Memphis is actually not stereo but it has been mixed from a two track tape and very high quality 'hi-fi' and not only is it not a soundboard it compares perfectly with normal stereo releases.
Video Preview: Tupelo's Own Elvis Presley DVD
Tupelo's Own Elvis Presley DVD. Digipack with a 16 page booklet. Never before have we seen an Elvis concert from the 50's with sound. Until Now! The DVD Contains recently discovered Unreleased Film of Elvis performing 6 songs, including Heartbreak Hotel and Don’t Be Cruel, live in Tupelo Mississippi 1956. Included we see a live performance of the elusive Long Tall Sally seen here for the first time ever. This is an excellent release no fan should be without it. The 'parade' footage is good to see as it puts you in the right context with color and b&w footage. The interviews of Elvis' Parents are well worth hearing too. The afternoon show footage is wonderful and electrifying : Here is Elvis in his prime rocking and rolling in front of 11.000 people.
