FTD Books and Flaming Star have joined forces again in order to streamline the production, sales and distribution of the Elvis Presley In Hollywood book series, the first of which is King Creole : Frame By Frame with a release date of February 7 and followed by Jailhouse Rock : Frame By Frame on March 6 along with the very exciting release of On Stage 2-Disc in the FTD 7" Classic Album Series [This will arguably be FTDs best release to-date in terms of unreleased high quality recordings] and Our Memories Od Elvis a 2-Disc 5" version of the original albums with a full CD of unreleased material and a 12" double vinyl release of His Hand In Mine.

The key element of this new Elvis Presley In Hollywood series is the books created by Erik Lorenzen and Pål Granlund. Through books like 'King Creole : The Music', 'Fashion for a King', and 'Elvis : The Concert Years', [now deleted and sold out apart from 6 copies with slight damaged, going for a 'song'] the quality of the work is already well known. The new release King Creole : Frame By Frame is a sequel to 'King Creole : The Music'.

Through 440 pages, in a 25cm [10"] x 30cm [12"] format, you will be taken through the entire story of the movie, with the original manuscript as the guiding element. Each spread combines the manuscript page with the relevant photos to cover the entire movie. The book features more than one thousand photos, including actual shots from the film, publicity stills, and a lot of rare and previously unpublished behind the-scenes photos. Hardcover and printed on glossy paper 'King Creole : Frame By Frame', is the ultimate journey through the making of what is by many considered Elvis' finest movie. The book weighs 2.5 kilos [5.5 Pounds].

The second volume, Jailhouse Rock : Frame By Frame will be released on March 6, along with the new FTD releases, and it will be an intimate look at 'Jailhouse Rock'.

For years now we have had the basic el cheapo compilation of the basic tracks but now we have a full CD with a running time of over 75 minutes that gives a very good overview of Elvis in concert in the 1950s. This CD is presented exactly the same as the MRS releases Off Duty With Private Presley Book Deluxe CD set, Tupelo Welcomes Home Elvis Presley Deluxe CD set and Such A Night in Pearl Harbor CD and 100 page Book set.

Tupelo's Own Elvis Presley DVD + 16 page booklet. Never before have we seen an Elvis concert from the 50's with sound. Until Now! The DVD Contains recently discovered Unreleased Film of Elvis performing 6 songs, including Heartbreak Hotel and Don’t Be Cruel, live in Tupelo Mississippi 1956. Included we see a live performance of the elusive Long Tall Sally seen here for the first time ever. This is an excellent release no fan should be without it. The 'parade' footage is good to see as it puts you in the right context with color and b&w footage. The interviews of Elvis' Parents are well worth hearing too. The afternoon show footage is wonderful and electrifying : Here is Elvis in his prime rocking and rolling in front of 11.000 people.
