Born to Elvis and Priscilla Presley on February 1, 1968, Elvis' only daughter spent the first four years of her life at Graceland where she was the apple of her father's eye. When her parents split in 1972, Lisa Marie Presley left Nashville with her mother for the suburbs of Los Angeles, but would regularly visit Elvis in Memphis. Music was undoubtedly a big part of her life; Elton John, David Cassidy and some of Elvis' softer songs were her favorites.

Having music around allowed Lisa Marie an escape. The tension between two households and the geographic distance apart was emotionally taxing for a young girl; such stress came to head August 16, 1977 when her father died. Lisa Marie was nine-years-old. Read more.

'Elvis and I were ecstatic over the birth of our daughter. If the baby had been a boy, we were going to name him John Barron. I liked the name Barron. It has a very strong feeling to it. Lisa Marie and Elvis Duet Now Available on iTunes

Lisa Marie Presley will world premiere her new video I Love You Because, an emotional duet with her late father Elvis Presley, on CMT and CMT.com on Thursday, October 18th during the 8 and 10 a.m. ET/PT music hours. At the suggestion of renowned producer T-Bone Burnett, Lisa recorded the Elvis song in August for the 35th anniversary of her father's death. The video was only intended to be viewed by some 25,000 fans in attendance at the 35th Anniversary Concert at the FedEX Forum in Memphis, but following a warm reception by fans, Presley agreed to share the video with CMT. The single I Love You Because from Sony Legacy is now available for purchase digitally from iTunes USA. The full video will be available on iTunes on October 25.
