We have received the following official information and art work direct from Joseph Pirzada ....

A new European record label called 'Memphis Recording Service' which now controls all the rights to and including the original logo's from the 1950's will release a SUN boxset which has been 3 years in the making. This release will be the first of 2 Sun collections that will cover the entire Sun era. The first volume which is set for release in June 2005 will concentrate on the years 1953 - 1954.

Memphis Recording Service owner; Joseph Pirzada is calling this release a 'super CD' with all tracks being remastered in their original Sun sound and will include a previously unreleased recording from 1954 as well as live recordings. The package will also include a 7 inch vinyl record of 'Thats all Right' pressed direct from the original Master Mother stamper which will be identical to the original 45rpm released by Sam Phillips in 1954 with all the hallmarks and obviously the exact sound.

There will also be a 200 page book containing unpublished photographs of Elvis from 1953 and 1954 including colour, along with documents never before seen by the public during the 53- 54 which Pirzada claims will include the "most important document ever from 1954"  which has never been seen before. All items will packaged together within the Box set.

Contributions to this package include: Scotty Moore, Ed Leek, John Heath, Joseph Tunzi, Stanley Oberst, Sheriff Hanna, Russ Howe, Joseph Kereta are just the verye few that are involved in this project. The book itself is written by Joseph Pirzada and John M Heath.

I want to make the best Sun package that can be had which is why we are going into every detail to cover the 53-54 era. On having spent 6 months last year in the mid-south in the USA on research I am going to set the story straight. Every past book I have seen have just got it wrong."

The second collection from the 'Memphis Recording Service' will focus on the 1955 era and is planned for release in January 2006. This next release will include more unreleased tracks and will include a vinyl pressing from Sam Phillips original Master plate 'Mystery Train'.

Pirzada states; " I want to make the best Sun package that can be had which is why we are going into every detail to cover the 53-54 era. There is no indication of a retail price but Pirzada says "The price will be made very affordable!".

Elvis Presley Video Tupelo's Own Elvis Presley DVD

Never before have we seen an Elvis Presley concert from the 1950's with sound. Until Now! The DVD Contains recently discovered unreleased film of Elvis performing 6 songs, including Heartbreak Hotel and Don't Be Cruel, live in Tupelo Mississippi 1956. Included we see a live performance of the elusive Long Tall Sally seen here for the first time ever. + Plus Bonus DVD Audio.

This is an excellent release no fan should be without it.

The 'parade' footage is good to see as it puts you in the right context with color and b&w footage. The interviews of Elvis' Parents are well worth hearing too. The afternoon show footage is wonderful and electrifying : Here is Elvis in his prime rocking and rolling in front of 11.000 people. Highly recommended.
