Elvis Presley's Spring Fever is the soundtrack to an animated TVC by GPY&R Melbourne for Schweppes Australia's Spring Valley which breaks this weekend. The ad is the first time a Presley song has been licenced for commercial use in Australia – features the work of US based animation house Psyop.
Schweppes Australia marketing director Darryn Wallace, said: 'Our objective was to create a new and exciting campaign for Spring Valley that had a broad appeal and after seeing it left everybody feeling happy, with an added spring in their step. We are wrapped with the final result; it is bright, colourful, has amazing animation affects and simply leaves you smiling'. As well as TV, the campaign will run across cinema, print, online and outdoor. Adshel bus shelters and street furniture will use flowers and grass along with Bluetooth-enabled technology allowing on the spot download of the Spring Fever Elvis track.
