An exceptional CD; buy it.
With the inclusion of O Little Town of Bethlehem from the Elvis Christmas Duets CD with Karen Fairchild & Kimberly Schlapman (which is uncredited apart from singled out for copyright 2008) this would seem to back up our thinking that the three songs Winter Wonderland, The First Noel and If I Get Home On Christmas Day on the Blue Christmas CD that are also credited to 2008 are unused overdubbed tracks from the Christmas Duets sessions. And this is no problem Winter Wonderland as you can hear in the sample below.

Sony Music have released the CD, 'Blue Christmas'. The CD features 16 tracks with three being clearly different with new orchestra string arrangements. And sounding very nice. Winter Wonderland, The First Noel and If I Get Home On Christmas Day. As each has the year 2008 after the title it maybe these are taken from unused overdubbed tracks from the Christmas Duets release in 2008. However there is a credit 'Thanks to Roger Semon and FTD' so they may have provided some alternate takes. But they do sound more like overdubs, but from 1971 or 2008? Released at the same time is the Elvis : The Gospel Collection CD.

* 48 Hours To Memphis is actually not stereo but it has been mixed from a two track tape and very high quality 'hi-fi' and not only is it not a soundboard it compares perfectly with normal stereo releases.
Video Preview: Tupelo's Own Elvis Presley DVD
Tupelo's Own Elvis Presley DVD. Digipack with a 16 page booklet. Never before have we seen an Elvis concert from the 50's with sound. Until Now! The DVD Contains recently discovered Unreleased Film of Elvis performing 6 songs, including Heartbreak Hotel and Don’t Be Cruel, live in Tupelo Mississippi 1956. Included we see a live performance of the elusive Long Tall Sally seen here for the first time ever. This is an excellent release no fan should be without it. The 'parade' footage is good to see as it puts you in the right context with color and b&w footage. The interviews of Elvis' Parents are well worth hearing too. The afternoon show footage is wonderful and electrifying : Here is Elvis in his prime rocking and rolling in front of 11.000 people.
