Elvis Presley once again dominates the UK albums and singles charts 30 years after he passed away in August 1977. Elvis The King enters the albums charts at #1 and Suspicious Minds, a number two hit in November 1968, enters the singles charts at # 11. The single was re-released last Thursday, the 30th anniversary of his passing, so therefore only had three days sales computed into the new chart.

The limited edition Viva Las Vegas double CD set has now been released and is now in stock. The set features a previously unreleased concert, recorded at The International Hotel in Las Vegas, August 21, 1969. This was the first concert recorded by RCA records mobile unit during Elvis' triumphant return to Las Vegas and features the fantastic band that was later named the TCB (Taking Care Of Business) band by Elvis.

This is an excellent release no fan should be without it.
The 'parade' footage is good to see as it puts you in the right context with color and b&w footage. The interviews of Elvis' Parents are well worth hearing too. The afternoon show footage is wonderful and electrifying : Here is Elvis in his prime rocking and rolling in front of 11.000 people. Highly recommended.
