CBS can't help falling in love with Elvis. Eye is developing a four-hour movie
about the king of rock 'n' roll, and has the blessing of the Elvis Presley
estate for the project. The project hopes to use master recordings of Presley's

Rock'n'Royal
The lead singer from the Big Fat Snake band Anders Blichfeldt (Who did the One

This recording became a pivotal moment in rock history and is considered "the big bang" in the dawn of the rock 'n' roll era.

The July FTD CD release will be a live recordings from February 1970 using stereo tapes from RCA. 'Paradise Hawaiian Style" will be released with this regular release.

Gospel CD First of Several New Elvis Releases
Elvis is back, baby -- and this time he's found religion. BMG has released "Elvis Ultimate Gospel", the first greatest-hits collection of Elvis Presley's gospel recordings. Another Elvis project to look out for is "Elvis at Sun", a compilation of Elvis' greatest recordings at Sun Studios. There is a possibility that this will include a previously unreleased track.

For two years, the King of Rock 'n' Roll was merely a soldier in the U.S. Army. Now an exhibit at Fort Knox features photos of Presley's time in the service, his uniforms, videos of interviews, and various documents and military paraphernalia used from 1958 through his discharge in 1960.

The FBI is now involved in the case of the stolen Elvis jewelry. The FBI has

No DVD For "It Happened At The World's Fair" ?
It would seem that Warner have pulled the DVD release of "It Happened At The
World's Fair" in the UK due to a copyright problem on one of the
songs. This has also prevented the DVD release of Kissin' Cousins &
Girl Happy. The DVD was due for release in July 2004 along
with "This Is Elvis" (extended version), "Harum Scarum", "Spinout",
"Double Trouble", "Speedway" and "The Trouble With Girls". More news when we

Jailhouse Rock: The Musical to Open in London Without the Song 'Jailhouse Rock'
It seems that something is missing from the new musical entitled "Jailhouse Rock: The Musical" opening in London's West End later this month. Ostensibly, this is a stage production reworking Elvis' 1957 film of the same name. But the song "Jailhouse Rock" is nowhere to be heard and the songwriters Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller find that using the title "Jailhouse Rock," which they created for both the film and the song, is offensive and misleading to the public.

Comeback Special DVD's which will be released in June '04: Elvis' Comeback
Special will be a 3 DVD Deluxe Edition and Elvis' Aloha From
Hawaii will be a 2 DVD Deluxe Edition. These sets will be packaged in
digipak and are planned for release on June 22.

Two of the three FTD soundtrack releases originally scheduled for May 2004 are being postponed. 'Spinout' will be released on May 15 as planned, along with a book titled "Flashback" on Elvis' career between 1956 and 1958 (Separate release). 'Paradise Hawaiian Style" will be released on July 1st, 2004 with the regular release. 'Double Trouble' will be released on October 1st, 2004 again along with the regular release.
