Blue Moon Of Kentucky (Spankox Re:Version) VinylCD Single
Released this month is the brand new second single from the album 'Re:Versions', 'Blue Moon Of Kentucky' (Spankox Re:Version). It is due from Spankox Everness label for release December 2008 in Italy. Like the first single it will be a VinylCD too; one side plays in your cd player while the other side plays on your record player. It's beautifully printed in GOLD over BLACK and carries the official EPE 'Elvis Presley Signature Product' and 'Graceland' logos on the back cover and on the label
The VinylDISC of 'Baby Let's Play House' combines a CD on one side with vinyl - yes, beautiful black vinyl- on the other. The concept behind VinylDisc is valid, that there are people out there who want to hear their music in pristine digital sound, yet are still drawn to the eclectic analog nature of vinyl, yet want it all on one disc. The record includes a radio version, an extended version and the original remastered Presley song. Also, as bonus, the ringtone version. The radio edit on the 33 rpm vinyl side has been cut with a special and sophisticated vintage process to obtain the sound of the records pressed in the late 50s. So this VinylDISC is indeed a charming collectable item.

Tupelo's Own Elvis Presley DVD
Never before have we seen an Elvis Presley concert from the 1950's with sound. Until Now! The DVD Contains recently discovered unreleased film of Elvis performing 6 songs, including Heartbreak Hotel and Don't Be Cruel, live in Tupelo Mississippi 1956. Included we see a live performance of the elusive Long Tall Sally seen here for the first time ever. + Plus Bonus DVD Audio.
This is an excellent release no fan should be without it.
The 'parade' footage is good to see as it puts you in the right context with color and b&w footage. The interviews of Elvis' Parents are well worth hearing too. The afternoon show footage is wonderful and electrifying : Here is Elvis in his prime rocking and rolling in front of 11.000 people. Highly recommended.
