Viva Las Vegas 1969 - Elvis Live in Concert
Sony BMG will release Viva Las Vegas as a 2 CD set, Elvis The King 2 CD set, and The Early Years 2 CD set, in Australia on July 27. Viva Las Vegas will include a previously unreleased Elvis concert recorded in Las Vegas, August 1969 (date not yet given) and will be available for a limited time only.
In the US/ Canada/ Latin America Viva Las Vegas will be released as a 1 CD compilation.
There is going to be a TV documentary made, and once there is confirmation of where and when it will be placed, we will schedule a regular 1CD version for the rest of the world to market on the back of that show. It is already slated for broadcast in the US in September, hence the dual strategy.
Elvis The King
Sony BMG Music Entertainment will release Elvis The King: a 2-disc CD companion album. Thirty years on since Elvis Presley's tragic death, this comprehensive collection of 50 stand out tracks including No.1's from 2005's 18 singles campaign, will remind many that he was the King for a very good reason.
The Australian release of Elvis The King: a 2-disc CD companion album, will contain the bonus tracks Welcome To My World on Disc 1 and on Disc 2 the live Elvis version of If I Can Dream.

Never before have we seen an Elvis Presley concert from the 1950's with sound. Until Now! The DVD Contains recently discovered unreleased film of Elvis performing 6 songs, including Heartbreak Hotel and Don't Be Cruel, live in Tupelo Mississippi 1956. Included we see a live performance of the elusive Long Tall Sally seen here for the first time ever. + Plus Bonus DVD Audio.
This is an excellent release no fan should be without it.
The 'parade' footage is good to see as it puts you in the right context with color and b&w footage. The interviews of Elvis' Parents are well worth hearing too. The afternoon show footage is wonderful and electrifying : Here is Elvis in his prime rocking and rolling in front of 11.000 people. Highly recommended.
