Elvis Christmas Duets CD #20 on the Australian ARIA Albums Charts
The Elvis Christmas Duets CD has spent Christmas Week in the top 20 - at #20 - in it's fifth week on the Australian ARIA Albums Chart. This is Elvis' highest album chart position since Elvis The King made it to #4 in August 2007. On the Country Chart, the album remains #1 in it's eighth week on the chart.
This is Elvis' 28th top 20 hit album since January 1965.
On the DVD chart, Elvis: The King Of Rock 'N' Roll is also in the top 20 this week. The DVD jumped 19 places from #38 last week to sit at #19 in its 26th week on the chart. It peaked at #4.
The Elvis Christmas Duets CD is Elvis' second album to appear on the Australian ARIA Country Charts. The compilation CD, Elvis Country (82876774332) peaked at #66 in November 2006 after a 38-week stay on the chart. (This is a good indicator of how small a sales market the Australian Country Chart is - so keep an eye on the main chart as the best reference as to the performance of Elvis Christmas Duets.)

The 'parade' footage is good to see as it puts you in the right context with color and b&w footage. The interviews of Elvis' Parents are well worth hearing too. The afternoon show footage is wonderful and electrifying : Here is Elvis in his prime rocking and rolling in front of 11.000 people. Highly recommended.
