Elvis The Complete Works - 30 CD Box Set From Sony BMG
There will be a total restoration of every Elvis master with new digital technology. The set will be presented in very prestigious packaging and include a fantastic book.
The marketing method is still being considered, it is possible the set will be available through only a small number of outlets, possibly only one, possibly by pre-order only, then it is gone. Still all to be decided, but if this is the way they go, if you don't pre-order you don't get one.
This will be a very nice set and as said above, limited to less than 10,000 units, possibly made only to order then no more - very collectable - so expect the retail to be well over $1000 USD.
At this time it is a work in progress and no release date has been set.

The DVD Contains recently discovered unreleased film of Elvis performing 6 songs, including Heartbreak Hotel and Don't Be Cruel, live in Tupelo Mississippi 1956. This is an excellent release no fan should be without it.
The 'parade' footage is good to see as it puts you in the right context with color and b&w footage. The interviews of Elvis' Parents are well worth hearing too. The afternoon show footage is wonderful and electrifying : Here is Elvis in his prime rocking and rolling in front of 11.000 people. Highly recommended.
