Elvis Recorded Live On Stage In Memphis FTD CD
'Elvis Recorded Live On Stage in Memphis' is to be re-released by the Follow That Dream Label on April 1st as a Classic Albums Reisse in a similar format to the FTD Soundtrack re-release series.
The new CD release will include the songs that were left out of the original album, consequently, the whole show will be remixed.
The package will be in the 7" format including a booklet with pictures and information about the show.
Part of Follow That Dream Records' mission, along with their regular quarterly releases of concert soundboards, alternate material from recording sessions and other special material, is to reissue Elvis movie soundtrack albums and classic Elvis albums that have been deleted from the regular RCA Records label catalog and are no longer widely available.

The next round of Movie Soundtrack Reissues, in May 2004, are now officially confirmed as Paradise Hawaiian Style, Spinout and Double Trouble.

The 'parade' footage is good to see as it puts you in the right context with color and b&w footage. The interviews of Elvis' Parents are well worth hearing too. The afternoon show footage is wonderful and electrifying : Here is Elvis in his prime rocking and rolling in front of 11.000 people. Highly recommended.
