The Guinness Book Of British Hit Singles And Albums calculates weekly chart points for positions 1 through to 75. As of today, Elvis has 1290 weeks on the Singles Chart. 'Suspicious Minds' is now in its 4th week; 'Blue Suede Shoes', 'Hound Dog' and 'My Baby Left Me' each had a 2 week run and 'Teddy Bear' has so far got 1 week. This puts Elvis some 2 years 19 weeks ahead of Sir Cliff Richard his nearest rival. The Beatles have 456 weeks on the Singles Chart.

The Presley Elvis The King retrospective is his 11th chart-topping album in the U.K. He first led the survey in November 1956 with Rock'n'Roll and most recently in October 2002 with ELV1S 30 #1 Hits. The single, part of another reissue series of 18 Elvis tracks by Sony BMG, was re-released last Thursday, the 30th anniversary of his passing, but therefore only had three days' sales computed into the new chart.

Elvis Presley Video Tupelo's Own Elvis Presley DVD

Never before have we seen an Elvis Presley concert from the 1950's with sound. Until Now! The DVD Contains recently discovered unreleased film of Elvis performing 6 songs, including Heartbreak Hotel and Don't Be Cruel, live in Tupelo Mississippi 1956. Included we see a live performance of the elusive Long Tall Sally seen here for the first time ever. + Plus Bonus DVD Audio.

This is an excellent release no fan should be without it.

The 'parade' footage is good to see as it puts you in the right context with color and b&w footage. The interviews of Elvis' Parents are well worth hearing too. The afternoon show footage is wonderful and electrifying : Here is Elvis in his prime rocking and rolling in front of 11.000 people. Highly recommended.
