'Memphis Recording Service' (MRS) will release a CD Deluxe and 2LP Gatefold in both black and clear vinyl titled 'Elvis: Las Vegas - 'Down In The Alley' Opening Night 1974' in June 2025.

The CD features Elvis' opening night show at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel on 19 August 1974 at the start of his eleventh season, during which he performed an almost completely revamped setlist.

For the first time ever, the original recording has been remastered and mixed into stereo. The accompanying booklet features rare photographs and memorabilia from the event and also includes liner notes that set the scene.

The 2LP sets and will be available in both Black and Clear vinyl.

The 'parade' footage is good to see as it puts you in the right context with color and b&w footage. The interviews of Elvis' Parents are well worth hearing too. The afternoon show footage is wonderful and electrifying : Here is Elvis in his prime rocking and rolling in front of 11.000 people. Highly recommended.
