James Burton On Clapton Crossroads Festival

Eric Clapton has finalised the program for his Crossroads Guitar Festival and Clinic for Dallas June 4-6. Among the artists hosting guitar clinics is James Burton.

Sunday, June 6, the Guitar Center Village will open to the public at 10:00am and remain open through the remainder of the day. The day's events include guitar clinics and live performances on the fairgrounds. Between 12:30pm - 2:00pm at Picker's Corner there is a clinic with Marty Stuart, James Burton (Elvis Presley), Doyle Dykes and guests at the Sirius stage.

The 'parade' footage is good to see as it puts you in the right context with color and b&w footage. The interviews of Elvis' Parents are well worth hearing too. The afternoon show footage is wonderful and electrifying : Here is Elvis in his prime rocking and rolling in front of 11.000 people. Highly recommended.
