Return To Sender #5 on UK Singles Chart
From April 10 the UK chart will include songs purchased by download which will probably prevent artists such as Elvis Presley again reaching the top of the UK chart.
James Gillespie of the UK Official Chart Company (OCC), which compiles the chart, said: "Including internet downloads in the singles chart is something we have been planning for some time now, but the preparation is a big job". They had hoped to have digital downloads included from March 20 but due to concerns over the lack of representation of independent releases at major download outlets the move was has delayed.
Downloads overtook physical singles sales in December for the first time, with 312,000 tracks bought online compared to 282,000 over the counter. Figures from last week show the market has grown even further with 353,000 online singles sales.

The afternoon show footage is wonderful and electrifying : Here is Elvis in his prime rocking and rolling in front of 11.000 people. Highly recommended.
