Everybody knows 'Bonanza', the popular American western television series that ran on NBC from September 12, 1959 to January 16, 1973. Lasting 14 seasons and 431 episodes, it ranks as the second longest running western series (behind Gunsmoke). Elvis was a big fan of Bonanza and had his picture taken with 'Pa' (actor Lorne Green - by Elvis' request) and 'Hoss' (Dan Blocker - by Dan's request).
