Putting aside the drop from its No.9 high in it's first week, the 75th anniversary, the album has remained fairly consistent around the Top 20 the past three weeks with No17, No.20 and this week No.24.

The 'Memphis Recording Service' will release Off Duty With Private Presley on February 22, 2010 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Elvis Presley’s discharge from the army in 1960. This book / CD set is in the same format, only even better than, the Tupelo Welcomes Home Elvis Presley set. As part of this audio/visual release, the accompanying 100 page book has many rare and stunning photographs, many of which are unreleased and seen here for the first time. It includes informative text and historical facts focussing on Elvis' time in the US Army from his induction in 1958, to his discharge in 1960. The CD contains recordings made during Elvis’ time off duty whilst in the army with such classic’s as A Big Hunk O’ Love, A Fool Such As I and I Got Stung. It also has 30 Unreleased tracks privately recorded by Elvis while stationed in the US and Germany. These recordings are released officially for the first time to the public.

Sony Music Entertainment have released the Elvis Presley: 50 Australian Top Ten Hits 1956-1977 double CD set in Australia today to celebrate the 75th anniversary of The King's birthday. This double CD set is the first ever Elvis Presley Australian hits compilation. Together with the 50 hit songs, an 18 page booklet containing specially written liner notes and images of original RCA releases, and CD label art inspired by his first album release, the set provides a unique insight into Elvis Presley's popularity in Australia, a country where he managed an incredible twenty-year streak of placing hits on the singles chart. While disc one includes many of the familiar hits, disc two features not only the well known hit songs, but also many that are unique to Australia. FTD to Release: A Minnesota Moment on February 15, 2010

A Minnesota Moment will be released by FTD on February 15, 2010. It features Elvis' live performance on October 17, 1976 at Metropolitan Sports Center, Minneapolis, Minnesota. Bonus songs are from Dayton and Sioux Falls on the same tour. This release continues FTD's ambition to make shows available from as many of Elvis' tours as we possibly can. During the first 6 months of 2010, FTD will aim to release every 6 weeks, commencing with the February 15 release. There will be further announcements by the end of January, but it has been decided that the April 1 release will be a 'Classic album' 2 CD set.

Jailhouse Rock and From Sunset To Vegas have been released by FTD. 'Jailhouse Rock' is a 2-disc set in the Classic Album series. The first disc features the masters, alternate masters, movie masters and a few bonus cuts in mono while the second disc consists of session takes - all in binaural. The package features the 7” inch digipack format with 12-page booklet. A second volume will be released next year. From Sunset To Vegas is a 2-disc set in the Follow That Dream 5 inch digipack format. The main body of this release is the rehearsal recorded at RCA's studio on Sunset Blvd on August 16, 1974. There is a bonus section on the second disc with 10 live recordings from Elvis' Las Vegas engagement in August/September 1974.

FTD will simultaneously release two new albums in mid-September. From Sunset To Vegas is a 2-disc set in FTD's 5" digipack format and Jailhouse Rock, a 2-disc set in the classic album series. Disc 1 features one disc of masters, alternate masters, movie masters and a few bonus cuts in mono. Disc 2 consists of session takes - all in binaural. The package features the 7" inch digipack format with 12-page booklet. There is no In And Outtakes section to the booklet, as FTD will be releasing 'Jailhouse Rock Vol. 2' next year, and it will make more sense to have this section when the entire intended repertoire content is released.
