Joining the 'Viva Elvis' CD is the Viva Elvis - The Album 180 gram 12" audiophile vinyl. Made in Europe this release features the standard 12 song track list. 'Viva Elvis' re-imagines the King's own vocal performances in a broad variety of new musical settings. This new sound echoes Elvis' own versatility and ability to master all music genres, from Delta blues to rockabilly, from raw soul to gospel, from Southern folk to Vegas pop, while incorporating elements of garage rock, punk, urban and hip-hop.

In celebration of all eras of Elvis' musical genius, Viva Elvis - The Album includes songs from Elvis' rise to fame in the '50s, his movie soundtracks, his triumphant return to the stage in the '68 Special', and his ground-breaking appearances in Las Vegas. 'Burning Love,' 'Suspicious Minds,' 'Blue Suede Shoes' and 'It's Now or Never' are among the songs that have been re-imagined and transformed for Viva Elvis - The Album.

To contradict this, The Netherlands Viva Elvis from The Netherlands debuted at No. 11. Special Price Limited Time only - Including Duet With Dutch Singer Lisa Lois will be released on November 8th. Viva ELVIS - The Album, is a 21st century celebration of Elvis and his music, featuring the voice of the king in a whole new context.

In Europe, Sony have released a 'Suspicious Minds' two track CD single to promote the upcoming Viva Elvis CD release. Track 1/ Suspicious Minds : Viva Elvis version of 4.24 minutes, Track 2/ Suspicious Minds : the normal Elvis version of 4.29 minutes. Elvis Presley Video Tupelo's Own Elvis Presley DVD

Tupelo's Own Elvis Presley DVD + 16 page booklet.

Never before have we seen an Elvis Presley concert from the 1950's with sound. Until Now! The DVD Contains recently discovered unreleased film of Elvis performing 6 songs, including Heartbreak Hotel and Don't Be Cruel, live in Tupelo Mississippi 1956. Included we see a live performance of the elusive Long Tall Sally seen here for the first time ever.

This is an excellent release no fan should be without it.

The 'parade' footage is good to see as it puts you in the right context with color and b&w footage. The interviews of Elvis' Parents are well worth hearing too. The afternoon show footage is wonderful and electrifying : Here is Elvis in his prime rocking and rolling in front of 11.000 people. Highly recommended.
