For 25 years ...
The Beatles and Elvis shared the honour of having the most Number Ones
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
June 2002: Dutch DJ, JXL, remixed Elvis' 1968 B-Side 'A Little Less Conversation' and put The King back on top with 18 #1s.
January 2005 (week ending 15.01.05): Following the re-issue of all the Elvis #1s (week-by-week to be collected in a limited edition box set), 'Jailhouse Rock' tops the Official Singles Chart - his 19th.
January 2005 (week ending 22.01.05): Elvis replaces himself in the #1 slot with the double A-sided 'I Got Stung' / 'One Night'. This reissue becomes Elvis' 20th #1, the 1000th #1.
The single is also the 300th record to make its maiden Top 40 appearance at #1.
Elvis Presley registers his 1000th week on the Top 40 and his 1,200th week in the Top 75.
February 2005 (chart week ending 05.02.05): Elvis knocks American RnB artist, Ciara, off of #1 slot with 'It's Now Or Never'. This reissue becomes the 1002th #1 and Elvis' 21st #1.

Note: The precise credit on 'A Little Less Conversation' is "Elvis vs JXL". If this disqualifies the song from counting towards The King's overall tally, then The Beatles' chart-topper 'Get Back' would also have to be excluded because they shared the performer's credit with Billy Preston

This is an excellent release no fan should be without it.
The 'parade' footage is good to see as it puts you in the right context with color and b&w footage. The interviews of Elvis' Parents are well worth hearing too. The afternoon show footage is wonderful and electrifying : Here is Elvis in his prime rocking and rolling in front of 11.000 people. Highly recommended.
