Elvis + Beatles = Movie
Some Elvis and Beatle fans may have heard of the one evening in August, 1965 when these legendary forces came together . . . to party . . jam . . . and create one of the most un-talked about controversial meetings in Rock History.
But most fans do not know the story that occurred before and after this historic meeting between these two musical legends.
Writers Bruce Reid, Robert Stefanow, and Bruce Walker, have spent several years researching from various sources including books, magazines, videos, and live interviews. Based on this information they have written a movie screenplay entitled 'The King and the Queens Men'.
Author Robert Stefanow has personal insight into the life of Elvis Presley. Robert lived in Memphis for over 20 years and from 1978 to 1980 he helped with security at Graceland. During this time, he developed a close relationship with Elvis' Family, friends, entourage, and the fans, which he maintains to this day. In 1987 Robert married Linda Gail ( the sister of Jerry Lee Louis) bringing him even closer to the inner circle of rock and roll legends. Robert spoke to such people as Charlie Hodge, Joe Esposito, Red and Sonny West, Jerry Schilling, Billy Smith, Dick Grove, Richard Davis ( Memphis Mafia members), and members of Elvis' family in order to gain personal insight into the night Elvis met the Beatles.
We know the story contained in "The King and the Queens Men" will make a historic movie for Elvis and Beatles fans alike. Of all the stories pertaining to Elvis Presley and the Beatles, this is the one True Story . . . . . yet to be told.
We still have an open Curtain Call for the Main Characters in this Movie.
If you know anyone that may be right for these roles please feel free
to have them submit - bassmus@comcast.net - their portfolios.

The 'parade' footage is good to see as it puts you in the right context with color and b&w footage. The interviews of Elvis' Parents are well worth hearing too. The afternoon show footage is wonderful and electrifying : Here is Elvis in his prime rocking and rolling in front of 11.000 people. Highly recommended.
