Hollywood Elvis 4 : the saga continues!! DVD from Star
The producers of this great series deliver their next gem with an amazing total of nearly 50 (!!) NEW clips! This will probably be the fans favorite since it finally includes Viva Las Vegas! Does this need further introduction, we think not, but there are still fans out there thinking it simply includes the regular movie versions ... how wrong they are!
A lot of hard work goes Into all these clips, giving it that typical STAR feel, known for many years now, but still highly enjoyable! Most movie versions are much shorter then they studio versions, and some songs are only partly in the movie, (for example Girl Happy)
All songs are digitally remastered for your listening pleasure!

Spring Fever ... Edited WITHOUT the annoying girls singing, and some incredible edits were used to make this a great new clip ... If You Think I Don't Need You another example of how an edited movie version gets the Star treatment into a great new complete clip! Girl Happy in the movie TWO short versions appear, here it is brought to life as a COMPLETE clip, very nice edits! I'm Coming Home a nice added song for the Tickle Me soundtrack, includes hilarious slapstick segments. Do the Vega ... Animal Instinct ... You're the Boss all not in the movies, but again they run like clockwork!
There is some UNRELEASED footage as well ... Elvis preparing for the Lady Loves Me, on the set of Viva Las Vegas, some rare Roustabout footage, rare pictures and alternate takes.

Never before have we seen an Elvis Presley concert from the 1950's with sound. Until Now! The DVD Contains recently discovered unreleased film of Elvis performing 6 songs, including Heartbreak Hotel and Don't Be Cruel, live in Tupelo Mississippi 1956. Included we see a live performance of the elusive Long Tall Sally seen here for the first time ever. + Plus Bonus DVD Audio.
This is an excellent release no fan should be without it.
The 'parade' footage is good to see as it puts you in the right context with color and b&w footage. The interviews of Elvis' Parents are well worth hearing too. The afternoon show footage is wonderful and electrifying : Here is Elvis in his prime rocking and rolling in front of 11.000 people. Highly recommended.
