New York (June 23, 2004) - More than 50 years after Elvis Presley initially recorded the single "That's All Right" and changed music forever, the song claims the top berth among the Billboard singles sales chart. This week, the single "That's All Right" - released by BMG Strategic Marketing Group with an alternate version of the track as well as its original B-side "Blue Moon of Kentucky".

Please note this is the sales chart not the normal "Top 100" chart which is based largely on radio play which means Elvis is unlikely to make that chart. The sales chart is just that, the top selling CD singles.

BMG Strategic Marketing Group released the special CD single of "That's All Right" to commemorate the 50th anniversary of rock 'n' roll, which will officially be celebrated around the world on July 5th, with most of the activities emanating from Elvis Presley's hometown, Memphis, TN.

"That's All Right" also appears on two full length BMG CDs released this week to commemorate the anniversary - the critically acclaimed "ELVIS AT SUN," the definitive collection of Presley's work at this historic studio, recorded with the legendary producer Sam Phillips, as well as "Memphis Celebrates 50 Years Of Rock 'N' Roll" featuring a diverse array of musicians who were either born in Memphis, recorded in Memphis, or were deeply influenced by the city and its sound, including Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Aretha Franklin, B.B. King, Otis Redding and many others.

He holds the record for most top 10 pop singles, the most gold and platinum awards and is the world's best selling artist, eclipsing any other musician or group in history. His popularity remains intact to this day as there are more active Elvis Presley fan clubs around the world than for any other artist - dead or alive.
