That's All Right #1 on Billboard Sales Charts
Please note this is the sales chart not the normal "Top 100" chart which is based largely on radio play which means Elvis is unlikely to make that chart. The sales chart is just that, the top selling CD singles.
BMG Strategic Marketing Group released the special CD single of "That's All Right" to commemorate the 50th anniversary of rock 'n' roll, which will officially be celebrated around the world on July 5th, with most of the activities emanating from Elvis Presley's hometown, Memphis, TN.
"BMG is truly proud of this milestone and the overall renewed musical legacy of one of the greatest artists of all time," said Joe DiMuro, Executive Vice President, BMG Strategic Marketing Group. "No one but Elvis could claim a #1 single 50 years after it was originally recorded, and this tremendous achievement speaks to the phenomenal love and popularity he continues to enjoy today."
The success of "That's All Right" is yet another milestone in Elvis' record-setting music career. He is the only artist to be inducted into all three music Halls of Fame, including Rock 'N' Roll, Country and Gospel. He holds the record for most top 10 pop singles, the most gold and platinum awards and is the world's best selling artist, eclipsing any other musician or group in history. His popularity remains intact to this day as there are more active Elvis Presley fan clubs around the world than for any other artist - dead or alive.

The 'parade' footage is good to see as it puts you in the right context with color and b&w footage. The interviews of Elvis' Parents are well worth hearing too. The afternoon show footage is wonderful and electrifying : Here is Elvis in his prime rocking and rolling in front of 11.000 people. Highly recommended.
