After the sellout success of the Wonder of You concert series this year, the King of Rock'n' Roll is back in Australia due to overwhelming demand Direct from Graceland, The Wonder Of You, returns with two Encore Shows for 2018, Elvis Live On Screen With A 40 Piece Orchestra.
For audiences that missed out this is a way for audiences to experience this show in a way that many have never. The Wonder of You Elvis Encore Shows 2018 will feature the 40-piece Chong Lim symphony orchestra live on stage performing the King's most well-known songs and ballads. Music fans will be totally immersed in the world of Elvis and once again, be captivated by the man who changed the course of popular music, in this world-class concert event.
Elvis Presley is the highest selling solo artist in history (having sold an astonishing one billion records worldwide) and this encore concert spectacular, will feature the most recognizable voice of all time with a full symphony orchestra live on stage performing the King of Rock and Roll's™ most well-known hit songs and his tender, heart-wrenching ballads.
Following the 2015 release of the chart-topping Sony Music Legacy Recordings album, If I Can Dream: Elvis Presley with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, comes this thrilling Encore announcement. It will feature Elvis Presley on state of the art screens, specially designed for this arena tour and backed by a full 40-piece symphony orchestra for three performances. These concert dates follow hot on the heels of a sold-out arena tour in the United Kingdom in November 2016 and European arena shows in 2017, and Australia earlier this year.

To coincide with the tour announcement, Sony Music Entertainment Australia released The Wonder of You: Elvis Presley with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, October 21st, 2016. This remarkable new album was the follow up to last year's huge global phenomenon If I Can Dream: Elvis Presley with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, which topped charts worldwide and sold over1.5 million copies. The Wonder of You Encore Shows 2018 focuses on the iconic artist's unmistakable voice with lush new orchestral accompaniment. Recorded at Abbey Road Studios in Lon- don with acclaimed producers Don Reedman and Nick Patrick, the album features Elvis' most dramatic original performances augmented with lush new arrangements by The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Standout tracks include 'Suspicious Minds', a sultry new version of the 'A Big Hunk O' Love', the glorious 'Amazing Grace', the heartfelt emotion on 'Kentucky Rain', a stunning new take on the classic 'Always on My Mind', and the fun, upbeat 'I've Got a Thing About You Baby'.

The DVD Contains recently discovered unreleased film of Elvis performing 6 songs, including Heartbreak Hotel and Don't Be Cruel, live in Tupelo Mississippi 1956. Included we see a live performance of the elusive Long Tall Sally seen here for the first time ever. + Plus Bonus DVD Audio.
This is an excellent release no fan should be without it.
The 'parade' footage is good to see as it puts you in the right context with color and b&w footage. The interviews of Elvis' Parents are well worth hearing too. The afternoon show footage is wonderful and electrifying : Here is Elvis in his prime rocking and rolling in front of 11.000 people. Highly recommended.
